Family pension from FUS for widows/widowers, children or other family members of the deceased insured person.

FUS nursing supplement to a pension/annuity — PLN 366.68/month. Automatic for those aged 75+, or on request for persons unable to live independently.

PLN 500/month supplementary benefit for persons unable to live independently. Złoty-for-złoty mechanism above the income threshold.

FUS pension for vocational retraining — 75% of the lowest pension (approx. PLN 1,484/month for 6 months).

ZUS benefit after the employer-paid sick pay is exhausted. 80% of the basis, up to 182 days per year.

Maternity benefit from ZUS for the insured — 100%/81.5% of the basis for up to 52 weeks.

Benefit after exhausting the sickness benefit (90%/75% of the basis, up to 12 months) — requires a ZUS medical ruling.

Benefit for adults (18+) with a WZON decision setting their support need at 70–100 points.

Free caregiver support (up to 240 h/year) giving respite to parents of disabled children and carers of adults with significant disability.

Co-financing of a 14-day rehabilitation stay for a person with a disability certificate and their carer. Amount depends on disability degree (~PLN 2,100–2,500). Apply at PCPR.

Co-financing for the purchase of rehabilitation equipment, orthopaedic items and auxiliary aids — up to 80% of documented costs. Apply at PCPR.

Co-financing for removal of architectural, communication and technical barriers (ramp, lift, hoist, communication devices). Up to 95% of costs. Apply at PCPR.

PFRON "Active Self-Government" programme: co-financing for an electric wheelchair, vehicle adaptation, computer equipment, studies, sign-language interpreter and more. Annual edition — check at PCPR.

Occupational Therapy Workshops (WTZ) — free daily classes in social and vocational rehabilitation for people with a significant or moderate disability degree. Funded by PFRON.

A supplement to family allowance for raising multiple children.

Support for the education and rehabilitation of a disabled child.

Additional financial support for the start of the school year.

Help with paying rent for people with low incomes.

Various forms of financial and in-kind support from social assistance.

One-time help for a specific goal, e.g., medicine or fuel.

The possibility of receiving part of the pension after a deceased spouse.

One-time PLN 7,000 for the person who covered funeral costs of an insured person or ZUS pensioner. Amount increased from PLN 4,000 to PLN 7,000 from 1 January 2026.

Financial support for children whose parents do not pay court-ordered alimony.

Family Housing Credit — a BGK guarantee covers the missing down payment for a mortgage (for people without their own property; formerly: Housing without down payment).

One-time "thirteenth" benefit paid to pensioners every April.

One-time "fourteenth" benefit paid in September, with złoty-for-złoty reduction above PLN 2,900.

Pro-family tax credit — deducted from PIT for parents raising children.

One-time PLN 4,000 for a parent of a newborn with a severe medical diagnosis.

PIT-0: income up to PLN 85,528/year is tax-free for a parent raising 4 or more children.

PIT-0 for working seniors: income up to PLN 85,528/year tax-free (60 women / 65 men, not drawing pension).

PIT-0 for workers under 26: income up to PLN 85,528/year tax-free on employment contracts, civil-law contracts or internships.

Free personal assistant (AOON) for people with a disability — helps with daily activities, shopping, doctor visits and paperwork.

Monthly support for pupils from low-income families, paid for 10 months of the school year.

State-paid ZUS contributions for a nanny hired by a working parent (or both) for a child aged 0–3 years.

Disability-related tax relief: deduction from PIT taxable income for medicines, rehabilitation, equipment and home adaptation.

Deduction of up to PLN 53,000 from PIT income for thermal modernisation of your single-family home (insulation, heat pump, PV panels).

NFOSiGW grant of up to PLN 69,000 for replacing a boiler and thermal modernisation of your home (PLN 30k–69k depending on income).

A KRUS pension for a farmer or household member who has reached retirement age (60 W / 65 M) and has 25 years of insurance. The amount depends on the contribution record — KRUS guarantees at least the lowest pension.

A KRUS pension for a farmer permanently or temporarily unable to work on the farm. Incapacity is assessed by a KRUS physician; the guaranteed minimum is the lowest pension.

A KRUS benefit — PLN 25 for each day of incapacity to work lasting at least 30 consecutive days, up to 180 days.

One-time compensation from KRUS for an accident at farm work or an occupational disease — PLN 1,431 for each percent of damage to health.

KRUS maternity allowance for an insured farmer or household member — PLN 1,000/month for 52–71 weeks (depending on the number of children). The KRUS-route equivalent of the parental benefit — only one of the two is paid.
