Check if you are entitled →Who is entitled to the farmer's sickness allowance?
- A person insured in KRUS, unable to work due to illness for at least 30 consecutive days
- A farmer and household member covered by KRUS accident, sickness and maternity insurance
- The benefit is payable from the 30th day of incapacity, for up to 180 days (extendable by a further 360 days if recovery is expected)
The rate of 25 zł per day is fixed, but the total amount depends on the number of days of illness — which the calculator does not know. The allowance is not payable for time spent in a KRUS treatment facility or after insurance ends. KRUS calculates the amount after the application is filed.

File the application at a local KRUS office promptly after the 30-day period of uninterrupted incapacity to work has elapsed.
