The 800+ child-raising benefit is available to parents and guardians of a child under 18 — with no income threshold. It is paid monthly by ZUS.

Who can receive 800+?
- Mother or father of a child under 18 years of age
- Legal or actual guardian of a child
- Foster family or family group home manager
- Polish citizens and foreign nationals in the cases specified in Article 1(2)(2) of the Act on State Aid for Child-Raising; conditions depend on the basis of residence.

You can submit a child-raising benefit application through PUE/eZUS or the mZUS app.

- Is 800+ taxable?
- No, the 800+ benefit is free from income tax.
- Do I need to apply every year?
- Entitlement is established for a period from 1 June through 31 May of the following year. A new application must be submitted for the next benefit period.
- Does 800+ apply to foreigners?
- Polish citizens and foreign nationals in the cases specified in Article 1(2)(2) of the Act on State Aid for Child-Raising; conditions depend on the basis of residence.
- From when is the benefit granted after an application is submitted?
- Entitlement is established starting from the month in which the application was received. If an application concerning a newborn child is submitted within 3 months of the date of birth, entitlement is established from the month of birth.
